Counselling
Welcome to Greenhouse Counselling! I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal and grow through spiritually integrated counselling. I offer virtual counselling to adults and older youth (14+) and in-person counselling for individuals and couples of all ages. I offer a free virtual 20-minute initial introductory session. My hourly rate is $160 (I also offer sliding scale based on income starting at $100 per hour). I only offer a flat rate for couples of $160, as this rate includes resources and assessments.

Spiritual Integration
At Greenhouse Counselling, I believe that spirituality is an important part of the healing process. I offer spiritually integrated counselling services that help clients connect with their deepest values and beliefs, and find meaning and purpose in their lives. I am trained to work with clients from all spiritual backgrounds, however, my specialization is Christian counselling.

About
First I want to say welcome. I am honoured that you are here. I love what I do as it is a joy to be a small part of people's journeys. My desire to be a counselling therapist comes from a belief in the individual’s capacity for healing, growth and change. I believe that you have this capacity. However, I believe this healing usually needs to take place in the right environment. This is why my practice is called Greenhouse Counselling. I strive to build safe environments for clients to experience their healing and growth and to flourish into the person they were created to be.

In order to reach the place where I can now accompany clients I first graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care. This degree gave a wonderful foundation in understanding the human person. I then went on to receive a Masters of Divinity in 2009 then a Masters of Psychotherapy and Spirituality (my capstone can be found here). I have over 15 years of ministry experience which includes pastoral counselling and chaplaincy at the University of Alberta since 2015.

I am a wife and mother of 5 children. I grew up in Victoria and have lived in Alberta since 2004.
